The Making of University of Michigan History
"Club House" constructed at Ferry Field...
The Athletic Administration Building, or "Club House" as it was known, became the center of campus athletics in 1912. The Tudor style building at the east end of Ferry Field included locker room facilities, offices and a large lecture room. The Administration Building was extensively remodeled in 1926 after Yost Field House opened. It has been renamed the Marie D. Hartwig building for the first Director of Women's Athletics and now houses the Ticket Office, Sports Information Office and the Athletic Alumni and Development Offices.
