About
Nancy Bartlett is head of the University Archives Program. She oversees the program's commitment to working with the university community to insure the identification and preservation of records which are of enduring value. She serves as the program's primary liaison with university offices, individual faculty, students, and alumni. As such, she consults with offices and individuals about recommended records keeping practices and about procedures for the transfer of select records to the Bentley Historical Library. Administrative requests for historical information from records preserved by the Bentley Historical Library may be directed to her and other members of the University Archives Program staff.
With two degrees from the University of Michigan, Nancy Bartlett has a personal interest in the university's history and an eagerness to promote research on her alma mater through publications including A Book of Days, 150 Years of Student Life at Michigan (co-edited by Kathleen Koehler and published by the Alumni Association) and More Than A Handsome Box, Education in Architecture at the University of Michigan 1876-1986 (published by the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning).
