- FROM EAST: I-94 to north on US 23 to Geddes Avenue exit; turn left onto Geddes Avenue. Proceed through six lights (at the intersection with Huron Parkway Geddes Avenue becomes Fuller Road). Immediately after the sixth light, which is at Glazier Way and the V.A. parking structure, turn right onto Beal Avenue. The Bentley Historical Library is the second building on the right.
- FROM NORTH: US 23 to Geddes Avenue exit; turn right on Geddes Avenue. Proceed through five lights (at the intersection with Huron Parkway Geddes Avenue becomes Fuller Road). Immediately after the fifth light, which is at Glazier Way and the V.A. parking structure, turn right onto Beal Avenue. The Bentley Historical Library is the second building on the right.
- FROM WEST: I-94 to M-14 to south on US 23 to Geddes Avenue exit; turn right on Geddes Avenue. Proceed through five lights (at the intersection with Huron Parkway Geddes Avenue becomes Fuller Road). Immediately after the fourth light, which is at Glazier Way and the V.A. parking structure, turn right onto Beal Avenue. The Bentley Historical Library is the second building on the right.
- FROM SOUTH: US 23 to Geddes Avenue exit; turn left on Geddes Avenue. Proceed through six lights (at the intersection with Huron Parkway Geddes Avenue becomes Fuller Road). Immediately after the sixth light, which is at Glazier Way and the V.A. parking structure, turn right onto Beal Avenue. The Bentley Historical Library is the second building on the right.
- FROM WITHIN ANN ARBOR: At the intersection of Huron and Glen turn north on Glen, which becomes Fuller after the first light; continue straight on Fuller. Proceed through two more lights, the second one at Bonisteel and Fuller Court. Just before the light at Glazier Way, turn left onto Beal Avenue (opposite the Veterans' Hospital). The Bentley Library is the second building on the right.

Bus Transportation within Ann Arbor
The University of Michigan provides free bus transportation between the North Campus and Central Campus. From Central Campus take the "North Commuter" bus from the Geddes Road bus shelter (alongside the Ruthven Museum). The closest bus stop on North Campus to the Bentley Historical Library is the second stop on Bonisteel Avenue of the "North Commuter" bus.
Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) buses on route 3 stop near the intersection of Bonisteel Avenue and Beal Avenue. This route begins at 331 South Fourth Avenue, between Main Street and the University of Michigan Central Campus.
