Procedures for using Collections
- Please remove only one folder at a time, and use the out cards to hold the folder's place within the box.
- You must keep each of the items within the same order in the collection. Preserving the original order of the documents is of the utmost importance. Related documents are often next to each other in the folders.
- You will be given white gloves provided by the reference desk, while handling photographic material.
- Absolutely no food or drink is allowed in the reading room of the Bentley Historical Library. A lounge is available for researchers to eat and relax in. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance of the Bentley in Pierpont Commons.
- Cell phone use is restricted to the front enterway, and ringers must be turned off at all times.
