Renewal Ministries is an offshoot of the Word of God, an ecumenical charismatic Christian Community located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Founded in 1980 by Ralph Martin as a lay Catholic organization, its purpose is to renew Catholic life and ministry, which it does through television, radio, conferences, and rallies, evangelization schools, books, tapes, and worldwide mission trips. As president of the organization, Ralph Martin has since 1982 hosted a weekly television program - The Choices We Face.
The Renewal Ministries collection consists of videotapes (VHS and 1 inch reel) of organizational outreach programs, retreats, and rallies. The bulk of the collection consists of videotapes of the long-running television program hosted by Ralph Martin entitled "The Choices We Face." There are other tapes of rallies held in Lithuania, Poland, and Jerusalem. Other materials predate the establishment of the organization. These include conferences held at Notre Dame and Kansas City in the 1970s.

Litigation files include briefs, motions, exhibits, correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, and related materials detailing the Center's efforts to fight environmental racism.
