U of M - Films and Videos
The Bentley Historical Library's collections contain a wide variety of film and video documenting the university's history, from 1920s 16-mm film to recent podcasts. The films range from a broad history of the university produced in 1963 to original documentary footage of specific events. The online selection below offer an example of the Bentley's holdings.

- Film on women students at UM in the 1930s shows women in classroom, dormitory and social settings. Some original 1930s footage and some staged shots. Shots of campus and town. (This is a from a "master" two-inch tape of the film. This tape was produced by transfer of 16mm film by Allied Studio in Detroit. It inlcudes most of the footage in "You, Youth, and I" plus some additonal footage.)
