The Records Management Program provides training options as part of our ongoing effort to help faculty and staff manage their records. We provide opportunities for learning on a variety of topics such as:

 

  • How to assess and improve your unit’s recordkeeping practices
  • Securing the records of departing employees
  • University records and the cloud

Forms

Box Labels

This form serves as a template for labels which should be affixed securely to boxes prior to their transfer to the University Archives.

 

Box Manifest

This form serves as listing of all records being transferred to the archives. A completed list will aid archivists in the description, organization and retrieval of these records.

 

Records Destruction Log

This form is recommended for use by university units, departments or offices to create and maintain a detailed log of records which have been disposed of or have been transferred for permanent retention by the archives.

 

Donor Agreement

This form is used for when transferring records to the archives. Please see the Donate Your Archives page for more information.

 

Oral History Release

This form, which grants researchers access and releases copyright to the material, must accompany transfers of oral history tapes and transcripts.

 

Terms of Transfer

This form explains the terms and conditions for the transfer of records to the archives.

 

Transfer Agreement for Student Papers

In order for papers written by students to be available for research, this completed form must accompany any student authored papers approved for deposit in the archives.
