Come behind-the-scenes at the Bentley Historical Library.

New monthly tours offer visitors a special look at the thousands of square feet of materials archived at the Bentley, including rare collections and fascinating materials. Visitors will view thousands of boxes in the stacks, see how materials are processed, conserved and protected — all while learning more about how collections go from a box (or hard drive) in someone’s attic to patron-ready.

Expert guides will lead you step-by-step through the tour, which lasts about an hour.

Tours run monthly and begin at 5:30 p.m. They are always free and open to the public.
