This conference, held in 2022 upon the completion of the Detroit Observatory’s renovations, discusses the role of the observatory in the history of science and astronomy.

In this third session, Michelle McClellan, Johanna Meijer Magoon Principal Archivist at the Bentley Historical Library, Dean Regas, Astronomer at the Cincinnati Observatory, and Robert Stencel, Emeritus Professor of Astronomy and former Director of Chamberlin Observatory, discuss the Detroit Observatory as a Historic Site for Contemporary Education.
