The reunion took place at the Book-Cadillac Hotel in Detroit, Mich. on May 29, 1934. The photograph belonged to Walter Schildroth, who was attached to Headquarters Co. of the 339th Infantry and served in 1918-1919 during the Allied intervention in Northern Russia. The photograph shows group portrait of Polar Bear veterans seated at banquet tables.
