Have a Question? Use our Online Form!

The Bentley is open to all researchers, including the general public. Use this form to ask questions about using the library, our collections, duplication, or copyright, fielded by the Bentley’s Reference Services team. Questions can also be emailed to [email protected] or mail (attention to “Reference”).

If you’re looking for material, please try searching the online U-M Library catalog and then the Bentley Finding Aids (basic information and folder inventories for some collections). Reference requests are handled in the order in which they are received.

For all researchers, please schedule a video or phone consultation before your first visit to the library or if you have questions about your research.

You can leave a message for the Reference staff by calling the main phone number (734-764-3482) and selecting the prompt for questions about using our archive. To contact a specific staff member, please see the Contact Us page.
