Rod Payne

Center

Able to snap the ball with either hand, Rod Payne became the 12th Michigan center to be named All-American. The Miami, Fla. native started 40 games in his career, including the last 37. A two-time first team All-Big Ten selection, Payne was named a first team All- American by the American Football Coaches Association in 1996. He was selected in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
