Greatest pass interceptor in Big Ten history. Wore No. 25 on jersey and that was total interception number for three-year career. Tied Big Ten record for pass thefts as sophomore with seven. Had nine in league as junior and 10 for season, returning them for 182 yards. Added eight interceptions for 156 yards in All-American senior year with 45 unassisted tackles. Returned 25 interceptions for NCAA record 431 yards. The 6-1, 187 pounder from Aurora, Ohio, twice was All-Big Ten.
