Tom Dixon

Instrumental to the great Michigan running teams of the early 1980's, Tom Dixon thrived as the Wolverine center on two Big Ten Championship squads. Named to the UPI and Kodak All-American teams in 1983, Dixon started every game each of his last three seasons. His achievements were not confined to the gridiron as Dixon posted a 3.27 grade point average as a pre-medicine major. For his outstanding efforts on the field and in the classroom, Dixon received an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship and was named to several Big Ten and All-American academic teams.
