University of Michigan Football All-American

Julius Franks

Guard, 1942

Julius Franks

Played with the famed "Seven Oak Posts" on the line. A flaming competitor and a 60-minute player. An attack of tuberculosis cut his career short in 1943, but with characteristic courage he came back to graduate and become a successful dentist in Grand Rapids where he is active in civic affairs.
