Logan began is Michigan career as a wingback, but switched to defense his junior year, maintaining the great tradition of outstanding defensive backs. Logan had a banner year in 1972. He was selected as All-Big Ten and All-American by the press and coaches, and was honored by his Wolverine teammates when they elected him co-captain and Most Valuable Player.
