University of Michigan Football All-American
Frank Steketee
Fullback, 1918
Steketee became Michigan's second successive All-American fullback as he sparked his team to an undefeated and untied season. A great punter and field goal kicker, "Stek" also was a lineplunger of note. His placekicks defeated both Syracuse and Illinois. Following World War I, he returned to star again in 1920 and 1921, defeating Minnesota with three place-kicks and a touchdown.
