Jerame Tuman
Tight End, 1997
A three-time First-Team All Big Ten selection at tight end (1996-98), Jerame Tuman became a favorite target of quarterback Brian Griese during the 1,997 national championship season. The Liberal, Kansas native started 11 of the 12 games in 1997, finishing the season ranked second on the team with 29 receptions and 437 receiving yards. He was selected a 1997 First-Team Football News All-American. Tuman finished his career with 98 receptions for 1,279 yards, the second highest totals all-time for a Wolverine tight end. He was a fifth-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1999 NFL Draft.
