Ford, Charles W.

Ford was a resident of York, Mich., who served as second lieutenant, Company I, First U. S. Sharpshooters. His diary (1864) includes brief descriptions of his actions in the 1864 Virginia campaign, including the Battle of Spotsylvania and the siege of Petersburg.
