Milnes, Alfred, 1849-1921.
Milnes was a resident of Coldwater, Mich., member of Company C, 17th Michigan Infantry, and later a member of Congress. The collection contains a photocopy of one letter (Aug. 3, 1864) describing the Battle of the Crater in the siege of Petersburg, Va.
