The papers of this American poet and novelist include one letter (Oct. 20, 1861) of her father, Albert T. Morgan, who served as sergeant in Company A, 2nd Wisconsin Infantry, and later as captain of Companies B and H of that regiment. The letter, to his mother, is chiefly about temperance.
