Robinson, Edmund, 1826-1865.

Edmund Robinson was a private in Company H, 28th Michigan Infantry. He died of disease, April 16, 1865. His collection contains letters (originals, scanned images, and typescripts) to his wife and family describing his training, daily activities, his regiment's journey to Kentucky and Tennessee through Indiana, and then eastward to Virginia and North Carolina. The letters depict his faith, war-time incidents and concerns. The collection also includes photos, documents of other family members, and family history.
