Doughty, John Henry.
Native of Litchfield County, Conn., John H. Doughty was 1863 University of Michigan Medical School graduate and Civil War Veteran. Scanned PDF image of Doughty's autobiographical letter addressed to F. E. Coon, Editor of Michiganensian (spelled in letter Michigansion), describing his time in Ann Arbor, Mich. and as Assistant Surgeon, U.S. Volunteers. Transcript of the letter includes a note by Heather Mullett, Doughty's great-granddaughter and University of Michigan Law School graduate (1963), dated 1963.
