Brothers Charles W. Davis (1838 or 9-1863) and Stanley W. Davis (born 1836 or 7). Both served with Company A, 18th Michigan Infantry during the Civil War. Charles died Nov. 24, 1863, at Nashville, Tenn. Stanley was taken prisoner at Athens, Ala., Sept. 24, 1864, held at Cahaba Prison, and paroled Nov. 14, 1864. Diary (1863) of Charles W.
