The Tower family were residents of Ionia, Mich. The collection includes 16 letters (Oct. 18, 1862-June 5, 1864) of Angelo Emery Tower. Tower was captain of Company E, 6th Michigan Cavalry, and resigned for disability Aug. 15, 1864. The collection also contains letters from other soldiers:
