The Bentley Historical Library is open by appointment only for U-M faculty, students, and staff. Please see our full announcement here.

The Detroit Observatory does not have a parking lot, but there is one handicap parking space available near the front of the building (enter the driveway on the east/Observatory Street side of the lot, and drive up the hill).

Metered city parking spaces are available along Ann and Observatory Streets. There are also nearby University of Michigan parking structures. See the UM Medical parking map for more information.

Because parking is so limited around the Observatory, you may want to consider parking elsewhere and taking the bus. Please see the AATA website for bus routes and times.
