Complete Transfer Paperwork

In addition to a box list, units should complete a Records Transfer Memo prior to contacting the archives for transfer. This document lets us know who has prepared the transfer, from which unit the transfer has come, and what materials might be found in the transfer.

You should generate two (2) copies of this paperwork.

  1. Keep copy one copy in-unit for your records.
  2. Email one copy to the field archivist when you are ready for the transfer to be completed.
